Robin Cottage

The cottage enjoys magnificent views over a river valley. Footpaths lead from the front door onto a vast network of Forest paths and tracks; you can literally walk for miles!

The cottage has its own private patio for outdoor dining and taking in the wonderful panoramic views! There is also an additional 1/3 acre wildlife garden with its own bird hide and pond which is alive with frogs, newts, and stunning dragonflies.

The cottage retains its rustic charm, with its stone fireplace and oak flooring, and yet it has a light and airy modern feel. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom have lovely countryside views. The cottage is equipped with a wood-burning stove for chilly evenings, a luxury Italian leather sofa, and a comfy king-sized bed in the spacious double bedroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for a longer stay. The bathroom is clean, bright and modern. It is fitted with a bath with a shower over it. Additional heating is provided by modern convector-style heaters.

Included in the price: electricity, free unlimited WIFI, a basket of logs, tea and coffee for your arrival. Also included; is thorough cleaning before your arrival and upon departure as well as bed linen and towels for two.

For Fido, we include a sofa throw and towels as well as bags for our poo bins. There is a dog wash tap near the wildlife garden. He will be allowed on the sofa and bed, but doggie throws MUST be used, of course. Dogs are not allowed upstairs.

There is an allocated parking space for this property. The surface is natural rough hard standing.

Washing machine, drier, iron, ironing board and additional freezer are located in a separate building.

Parking is 30 metres uphill from the cottage.

The staircase is a traditional tight cottage one.
